This is my first year at Clarksville
Community School district. I graduated
from UNI in December 2005. In January, 2006 I became the full time instructor for Industrial Technology (IT). Even
though this is my first semester as the IT teacher I spent last semester working with the students of Clarksville as a student
teacher. I have been working in industry for over 20 years. I have had jobs that included, Safety Coordinator, Designer, Draftsman,
Maintenance Supervisor, Tool crib Supervisor, Mechanical Engineer, and Tool and Die Supervisor. I graduated from
UNI with a bachelor’s degree in Technology Education. I also have certificates in welding and machining from Hawkeye Community College.
At other points in history I have also earned 2 associate degrees from Hawkeye
one in Tool and Die, and one in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
I live in Waverly with my wife and two
kids. My wife works for Sherwin Williams Paint in Cedar Fall. My son is in 8th grade at Waverly, and my daughter is in 7th
grade also in Waverly. We share our home with a yellow lab, two cats, two rats, assorted fish and one parakeet.
I welcome and encourage parents to contact
me if they have any questions or concerns.
